Q&A with Pauline Schmiechen
When did you start modelling?
- I got discovered when I was 15 while shopping on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin and shortly after, I started modelling.
Who is your favourite designer and why?
- Vladimir Karaleev. I love the fit, the elegance and the simplicity of his designs. You can wear his clothes for any occasion and look great.
What was the last track you listened to on your Ipod?
- Sonic Mobilee - Pray. Two pretty boys from Berlin that make fantastic music.
Shootings or runway?
- Shoots, because afterwards you get sensational photos as a result and you meet nice people.
Ten years from now…?
- Ten years from now I see myself as a successful programmer working for a start up in Berlin or San Francisco.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
- Club mate. It helps me get going for the day!
What do you like to do on your day off?
- Get together with friends and family, relax, and try not to think about college.
What was the best place you travelled to?
- Death Valley. The silence and beauty of the nature is breathtaking.
